It was a misty, rainy day in late September in the Loire Valley. Where there weren’t grape vines, there were fields of sunflowers stretching to the distance. The flowers looked as soggy and bedraggled as I felt.
Though the mist wasn’t doing much for my spirits that day, I like the way it softens this photo.
