The Arno river and Ponte Vecchio bridge are among the many world-renown images of Florence. During my time there I was having a terrible time finding a place to get the shot that I wanted of this sight. One afternoon I was at the Ufuzzi museum when I happened to look out a window – there it was, the shot I was looking for! The window was slightly open, so I held my camera out through the opening and took a bunch of blind shots. Taking advantage of the instant feedback that digital cameras afford, I was able to get the shot I wanted even though I couldn’t get my head out the window.
