This is another of the classic shots of Angkor Wat, showing the surrounding moat, walkway, outer wall, the broken top of the main gate, and the central gopura within. It was a beautiful day, warm with blue skies and puffy clouds. In this photo I love the colors of the red stone walkway contrasting with the mirror moat reflecting the blue sky. I hope that it gives some idea of the scale of the place, and its broken grandeur.
