I took this picture during a trip from Queenstown to Milford Sound. The scenery along the whole drive was breathtaking, with images like this river valley around every corner. Unfortunately I was using a Kodak DCS260 camera, which does a really poor job with this kind of scenery. The JPG encoding turns fields of plants and trees, hillsides, and other similar textures into mushy blobs. In spite of this I still find this to be a great image.
