When I was a teen I loved the album art of Hipgnosis [sic]. I particularly liked one of the images they did for the Pink Floyd album Wish You Were Here, showing a man diving into a rippled pool with interesting rock formations and mountains in the background. It was a very surreal image. When I saw this spot in Kaikoura, on the south island of New Zealand, I was immediately reminded of that graphic. Looking at this photo I can almost imagine a diver disappearing into the middle of it.
